If you haven’t tried fresh orange juice then you are really missing out.
Because fresh orange juice kicks bottled juice in the ass.
I had so much fun taking pictures of this beautifully coloured juice! The colour of the food tells a lot about how nutritious it is and what vitamins are in it. So if you eat all the colours, you are getting a lot of nutrients, and you can just SEE how nutritious this juice must be, because it is SO VIBRANT! Yea?
This simple juice only has four ingredients, it is so good, yet so healthy! How is this possible!?
It has oranges, which give you a boost of vitamin C and are very good for clearing the skin and letting it glow, carrots, that are one of the best foods for beta carotene and therefore VERY good for the skin, and lemon and ginger that help the body detoxify and alkalize and are one of the best superfoods you can get.
The high water content also leaves you super hydrated throughout the day, and it just makes you happier. Just sayin. Cause you will feel super healthy and if you drink this in the morning I know you will just want to smile all day.
For the juice you will need:
4-5 carrots … the more the merrier 😉
3 cm piece of fresh ginger
Just put all the ingredients through a juicer, strain it and drink it!
If you don’t have a juicer you can simply blend everything in a blender and then strain it through a nut milk bag, pantyhose ore just a fine strainer. Or you could just make a super good smoothie out of it if you don’t feel like straining..
This recipe will yield a lot of juice.. probably around 1 liter. If you don’t want that much just halve the recipe or adjust it to your liking. Or double it hehe 😉
