It´s great to have some tasty truffles by hand when you get hungry in between meals. My dad loves this recipe and I make it for him almost every week! If you are used to eating a chocolate bar or candy in between meals then make this recipe and enjoy your snack with no guilt at all!
For this recipe you will need:
2 cups of gluten-free oats
2/3 cups of almonds or/and cashews
1 heaping tbsp maca powder
1 heaping tbsp lucuma powder
1 cup dates (if you are using very dry dates; soak them for at least 10-20 minutes)
pinch of salt (optional)
pinch of vanilla (optional)
Place all dry ingredients into your food processor and process until you get a flower.
Add the dates and process until you get a “cookie” dough and make small truffles
